We are, first and foremost, a community of Catholic Christians centered in Jesus Christ. The center of the life of our community is our celebration of the Holy Eucharist. From this spiritual nourishment, our lives of love and service flow. We are dedicated to living the Gospel daily in faith, hope, and love, and supporting each other in our spiritual growth, works of mercy, and prayer.
Our community is intentionally welcoming and inclusive. All are truly welcome to share in our spiritual journey as brothers and sisters in Christ. We welcome all who seek a closer relationship with God, and turn no one away. Our brothers and sisters who are divorced and remarried, or who are members of the LGBT community, or who may have been turned away or excluded from other churches for various reasons, are all invited to participate fully in the life of our community as equal members of our family. Both men and women are encouraged to participate fully and equally in the life of the parish. We also practice an open Eucharist; all baptized Christians who believe in the real presence of the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist are welcome to receive Holy Communion at Mass.
If you are seeking a spiritual home that truly values community, faith, service, and the spiritual welfare and growth of its members, and you are willing to actively participate in the life and work of the community, we invite you to join us at any of our services or activities and learn more about us. Good Shepherd Catholic Parish is a parish of Christ's Apostolic Catholic Church (Catholic, but not the Roman variety... click on the "CACC" tab above for more information). We are Catholics who care, and we're waiting for you to come home!
